Puzzle #9
Normal sudoku rules apply. Lines are renban lines (must contain distinct consecutive digits in any order). ALL straight lines of length 4, 5, or 6 are shown. The colors are just to aesthetically separate the different directions.
Solution code: Column 1 followed by row 6

@elikap with the wrong solution one of the diagonal lines should extend one cell

Really liked the puzzle! And absolutly doable, although it was my first renban puzzle. However I ended up with the same deadly pattern as Klomp and I just can't see how the negative constraint would solve that :(

Corrected the image and link for a missed renban line. Note: this may or may not substantially change the difficulty and/or solve path.

For me this was a hard puzzle and i ended up with a deadly pattern and missing length 6 line: https://ibb.co/cTC5jYf
But i did like it, it was a good challenge for me.

Reply: That deadly pattern can be resolved via the negative constraint; but you are correct that I just entirely missed one of the lines. I'll amend the puzzle now.

Fixed one of the lines being drawn one cell too short.

I think I found an error in the puzzle.
The following link contains a screenshot of my solution so don't open it if you haven't solved the puzzle.

The highlighted cells form a consecutive set of six digits but they are not connected by a line. This solution gave me the correct solution code, though so I'm assuming it's correct.

Reply: Thanks. I've now fixed the image and link.
