Regions (Sudoku)

(Published on 28. June 2021, 18:44 by PDN777)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits in the cells with circles form a complete set from 1-9. Digits in the cells with squares form another set 1-9. Digits along the main diagonals may not repeat. Digits inside the cages must sum to the little number in the upper left, and may not repeat within the cage. Comments welcome!

NOTE: This is a bit harder than my earlier puzzles. :-)

@sktx Thanks for solving! After the break in, I found the middle flowed, but the end is quite tricky. Anyway glad you enjoyed!

Very interesting puzzle, and great interactions between the constraints. it is not easy to deal with those disconnected sets, and I think I missed some part of the intended path (I used some quite long chains of constraint to resolve some cells, there was probably some better way). Anyway, thanks for the puzzle !
