Median Killer Sudoku

So in my most recent puzzle Mean, Median, and Mode (just rated at 100% -- thank you!!) I discovered that a median clue had a lot of untapped potential. So here's a simple killer sudoku but the clues are medians instead of sums.
The Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Fill each row, column, and box with the digits from 1 to 9 with no repeats.
- Clues in the cages represent the median of the cells in each cage. No repeating digits in a cage.
Recall the median is the middle number in a sorted list of numbers, and if the list contains an even number of numbers, it's the average of the middle two numbers:
- median of 5 is 5
- median of 4, 6 is 5
- median of 4, 5, 9 is 5
- median of 1, 4, 6, 7 is 5 because (4+6)/ 2 = 5
The Puzzle:
Solution code: The digits in row 4 followed by the digits in row 9

Its exciting to see some renewed interest in the Median as a clue -- I've got a "Japanese Median's" instead of Japanese Sums puzzle that could use some love if you enjoyed this one: (0006X2). Thanks for all the shout outs! Happy solving!

this is great! It took me a few tries, but i loved how the logic came together. This theme seems like it has a ton of potential and I hope to see more puzzles like this

Took me just over an hour, but well worth the time. The logic and pacing felt very consistent, and each deduction that led to a digit felt like a little aha moment. A very nice variant and thoroughly enjoyable puzzle!

I found this quite difficult (took me 39 minutes on the dot), but it was also incredibly beautiful. The logic was difficult, and it was easy to get lost, but my goodness, is this beautiful.
