Double Groove

(Published on 5. June 2021, 08:21 by fuxia)

This puzzle is part of my Talking Heads series. Double Groove is an unfinished outtake released on the 2005 remastered CD version of the Remain In Light album, originally released in 1980 without this song.

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Anti-Knight: No digit can see itself a chess knight's move apart.
  • Thermometer: Grey lines are thermometers; digits increase from the bulb end. So (2)-4-7 would be a valid thermometer, (2)-7-4 would not.
  • Killer Cages: Digits in outlined regions sum to the value in the upper left corner, and they cannot repeat in a cage.
  • Have fun!

I don’t understand why I want to link to the "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.en" website. Is this an advertisement?

Fuxia: It's just a link to the license text. There has been a debate a while ago in the forum about people who create copies of puzzles to solve them online and if that is a copyright infringement. I want to make clear that I don't have a problem when you create a copy for example on Penpa or somewhere else as long as you mention me as the author, hence the license.

I think you forgot to mention the cages in the rules.
