Normal sudoku rules apply.
Within cages, digits must increase from top to bottom along columns and from left to right along rows.
Digits may not repeat within a cage.
The increasing rule only applies to digits that see each other within rows or columns, so a valid way to fill in the pentomino in box 1 could be
