Can a 1 or a 0 ever be adjacent to an X?
Is the X in Column 6 a multiplication or sum? If a multiplication with a two digit product, how does this effect the stars in R5, R6, and R7?
What impact does R6C6 have on R5C7?
If you have narrowed down the candidates for X in column 6, what are the candidates for R4C7 and R5C5?
Did you forget about R1C1?
Examples (0 for Penpa+, 9 for f-puzzles):
ROW 2--Six multiplied by five equals thirty (6 X 5 3 0/9).
ROW 3--Five summed with zero equals five (5 V 0/9).
ROW 4--Three summed with two equals five, also two multiplied by four equals eight (3 V 2 X 4 8).
COLUMN 1--Six is greater than five, also five is greater than three (6 V 5 V 3).
COLUMN 2--Five is greater than zero but also five summed with zero equals zero (5 V 0/9).
COLUMN 3--Two multiplied by three equals six, also six summed with four equals ten (2 X 3 6 X 4).
COLUMN 4--Seven is greater zero, also two summed with eight equals ten (7 V 0 2 X 8)
Solution code: Please enter the 18 digits of Row 7 and Row 8 without any spaces. If you have solved the puzzle using f-puzzle, please replace the 9's with 0's.

It had been a while since I solved one of these XV VX, and my brain unwired most of the ruleset logic. Solving a XV VX is a must if you want to train your neuroplasticity, and this puzzle was a really entertaining way to do so ! Thanks ZH !

The pleasure is all mine, friend! This is one of my favorite XV VXs. Did you notice the colored regions are a 5,10, V and X?

More like 4 stars. Enjoyed it though! I agree with the others though, narrow down the rules a bit and make it more accessible.

Your star battle technique is super fast! I hope others use the same technique. Thanks for the solve. ~ZH

Very nice puzzle! I struggled a bit with the starbattle, but really liked the sudoku break in! Thanks for the puzzle!

@henrypijames Good suggestion. I have a pretty easy little killer ready for next week, and then I'll make a Classic after that.

Yeah, I've wanted to make the same suggestion: Instead of cross-breed your new (and interesting) ruleset with other rulesets right away, make at least three puzzles, with increasing difficulty, that use just modified XV and nothing else. Use as much negative constraints as possible (i.e. everything except the inequality), just like your first puzzle, minus the X diagonals.

@cdwg2000 In a week, when it is appropriate to introduce a new puzzle, I will strive to make it very easy to solve. Thank you for the suggestion.

@Zombie Hunter
Let me make a small suggestion. Before you continue to expand your rule set, can you introduce the rule set with a most basic problem (Difficulty<2), so that more puzzle solvers can accept it, thank you!
