Japanese Sum Sudoku Rules: Clues outside the grid indicate the sums of the digits in shaded cells. The shaded cells must be separated by at least 1 non-shaded cell.
In addition - one of the following rules below apply as well. The image is a clue as to which rule applies. All rules are from : http://abstractstrategygames.blogspot.com/2010/10/fairy-chess.html
1. Rhino rule - squares that are n squares over and n+1 squares up cannot have the same digit for every value of n.
2. Camel rule - squares an extended knights move away cannot have the same digit. (A regular knights move would be 1 up 2 over, the extended one is 1 up 3 over.)
3. Elephant rule - squares 1 or 2 steps diagonally cannot have the same digit.
