Irregular Sudoku Rules: Digits from 1 to 9 in each row/column/shape
Starbattle: Two of the numbers act like stars: they cannot touch each other (or themselves), even diagonally (which two numbers act like stars, needs to be deduced). The yellow marked square indicates the position of a star.
3D-Sandwich: Numbers (or sums) sandwiched between two stars (horizontally, vertically and diagonally!) have to be divisible by the sum of the sandwiching stars.
Example: In the example shown, the numbers 2 and 3 act like stars.
Numbers (or sum of numbers) sandwiched horizontally/vertically between two stars, have to be divisible by 5. If numbers are sandwiched diagonally between two stars, they (or the sum of them) have to be divisible by 4, 5 or 6 respectively.
Solution code: Enter the digits of row 4 (left to right) and col 9 (top to bottom)

Great puzzle! My first one done in Logic Masters. I struggled a lot but really enjoyed the star battle format. Thanks, Osh :)

Corrected 2 regions in f-puzzles grid ("Highligt Conflicts" was giving wrong indication for 2 regions)

@henrypijames Well Done! Yes, heavy coloring and pseudo-digits sounds about right :D
I also changed the image to make it more clear that the yellow square is a given star.
Glad you did stick to it, without knowing that the yellow square is a star, I would probably immediately give up ;)

Marked given star more clearly

Holy cow, this has to be one of the greatest puzzle ever made! I can't believe I've managed to solve it entirely logically - really feels like a great achievement. Heavy use of both coloring and pseudo-digits needed (basically a 2-D coloring scheme, for a 3-D puzzle).
And yeah, I totally missed the yellow cell being a given star at first - please use a stronger color (like red) next time.
I add my support for this being featured on CTC - it'll be another great movie-length video.

@henrypijames
:) what do you mean by easter egg? the rules should say that the yellow square marks a star :D
if you are only! considering starbattle rules (2 stars per row, col, shape) there are indeed multiple solutions. But, as mentioned below, if you take into account that two numbers act like stars, this adds addtional constraints, so you should pretty soon see that there is one correct distribution of stars

Completely crashed the starbattle part (didn't even get to the sudoku except noticing certain star constellations make the sandwiches impossible) after an hour and a half, have to restart fresh.
I wonder if the yellow cell is an Easter egg hint? ;)

@Osh Tirola Of course you are correct! 1 star battle solution. (and then the fun starts)

set difficulty to 5
on 12. May 2021, 22:39 by Jesper
@Osh Tirola: yes, I definitely think this is 5-star difficulty

@Zombie Hunter
Welld Done. There is a way to make sure you only get one acceptable starbattle-solution.

If there is a smoother way, I didn't find it! My first star battle solution was invalid but I didn't catch it until I broke the puzzle and I had to go back and find the correct star battle. I think the most difficult part was setting this gem. Good job. Easily a four star difficulty, but probably a five. If the solver doesn't notice an important relationship mid-solve, they are going to have a very difficult time.

@Jesper
Thanks. Yeah, I wasn't sure about the difficulty, do you think it is 5-star difficulty?

Some very nice (and not so common) concepts used in this puzzle. But I did find it very hard. Possibly there is a smoother way through than I used.

@SeminoleCBO
Well, you can recommend it to them :)
It would not be the first time, they actually featured a couple of my puzzles.
btw, did you try this one?

I think this would be a great puzzle to feature on CTC...if only I could tell them somehow. The rule set just seems unique and fun...just what puzzles should be.
