Binairo Killer
(Published on 19. April 2021, 11:17 by LKegel)
If you have never played a binairo puzzle,
here is a link to the rules (not necessary for this puzzle, but it can be enlightening. Plus, it's a fun puzzle type).
This sudoku is an attempt to bring binairo and sudoku together. Note that the uniqueness of rows and columns is not incorporated into the puzzle.
Normal sudoku rules apply. Furthermore:
- In a row or column, there may be at most two digits of the same parity next to each other (e.g: 124758396, but not 157294683).
- Digits in a cage add up to the value in the top left. However, these values are odd/even encoded. For example "EO" could be 23 and "O" could be 7. Zero is an even number, but the ten's digit cannot be zero. A question mark can be both an O or an E, and is not necessarily constant throughout the puzzle or even within a single cage.
