Standard Sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 into each cell of the grid. None of the rows, columns or boldly outlined 3x3 boxes contain repeated digits.

Standard Killer Sudoku rules apply: The digits in a cage sum to the number at the top left corner of the cage. Digits cannot repeat in a cage.

The digits on a line must increase from one end to the other. (This is why the title has "Killed Bulbs" in it. These lines are thermometers but their bulbs are missing.)

If the "23" cage was a "27" cage instead, the new puzzle would still be valid and it would have the same solution path as the original puzzle.
