Dancing Koala

(Published on 11. April 2021, 17:56 by Wuffel)

Greetings! This is my first sudoku puzzle and I would really appreciate it if you try to solve this puzzle and give me some feedback afterwards.

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Cells with grey circles must contain odd numbers.

Cells with grey squares must contain even numbers.

Numbers on a thermometer must strictly increase as they move away from the bulb.

If a number appears as the Xth cell from the end of a palindrome, it must also appear as the Xth cell from the other end.

Numbers must not repeat in a killer cage. The numbers in a cage must sum up to the given total in the top left.

The numbers along the indicated diagonal must sum up to the given total.

Numbers that appear in the cells between a ratio constraint must have a ratio of the indicated number.

Numbers along an arrow must sum up to the number shown in the circled cells.

Numbers along a between line must be between the numbers on the circled ends of the line.

PS: Highlight the 21,22, 24 and both 6 cages grey, the 9 cage black and the 45 cage pink. It is cute!

Beautiful puzzle, I am quite new to sudoku but I really enjoyed it!

This was fun. I don't think your need the 20 clue, and I bet you could find a way to eliminate the 19 clue also so you could eliminate one of the clue types. I also wonder if it would be possible to find a way to eliminate the thermometers since they're not part of the bear. I didn't really use the one in box 9. Just some random thoughts. It had a fun solve path and I don't mind the complicated ruleset because of the artistic quality. Great first try!!

Fun puzzle. Very complicated ruleset, though, and I didn't end up needing to use all the rules to solve it.

I'm new to alternate sudokus and I liked this puzzle. A few gimmes at the beginning and a nice even logic throughout. Very Enjoyable

@Wuffel: Welcome to LMD! There are many solvers who don't use online solving tools, but instead print out the puzzle. So could you please make the puzzle image bigger and include the rules on the main page of the puzzle. Thanks in advance :-)

I typically use the below html code for images (for more tips see https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Hilfe/einstellen.php#tippsundtricks):
