Consequences

- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Orthogonally adjacent digits are not consecutive. For example a 2 cannot be placed directly next to, above or below a 1 or a 3.
- Every digit in a quadruple clue must be placed in one of the four surrounding cells.
This is my first published Sudoku. I'd be very happy to get some feedback about the construction, what you liked, what not, and – most important – if you enjoyed the solve.
I also have to thank Qodec for his live test solve. He found a creative path around my intended solution path. That was instructive.
Solution code: All numbers along the diagonal from top left to bottom right. I know this is unusual, but you'll see the point once you solved the puzzle.

Took me 22:47. Got stuck early then remembered the adjacent cells rule haha. Then it was just grinding through to the solution. Loved this!

Tolles Puzzle! Ich kann nur sagen, dass es wirklich gut konstruiert ist! Es gab zu jedem Zeitpunkt ausreichend Hinweise um weiter zu kommen. Jeder Schritt war herausfordernd genug um dich klug zu fühlen, aber nicht so schwierig, dass es frustrierend lang dauert etwas Neues zu finden.
Nice puzzle! I can only say it's constructed really well! There were enough hints telegraphing how to proceed all the way through. Every step was challenging enough to feel smart, but not so hard that it takes forever to find something new.
