Authorized by the author 红葉(MOMIJI), he plans to publish his hand-made standard puzzles on this website, with 1 to 2 questions per week. If you like it and have good suggestions, you can leave a message.

Author: 红葉 (MOMIJI), from China, this question comes from his personal blog.

Heyawake(Standard)

1. A rectangle, bordered by bold lines, is called a "room". Fill in cells under the following rules.
2. The numbers indicate how many painted cells there are in a room. Rooms with no number may have any number of painted cells.
3. White cells cannot stretch across more than two rooms in a straight line.
4. Painted cells cannot be connected horizontally or vertically. White cells must not be separated by painted cells.

So far, I have recommended at least more than 100 questions with a difficulty of less than 3 stars, and shared more than 10 standard puzzle types. But the frustrating thing is that most of the puzzles I recommend with more than 3 stars are not scored. At least for now, I wouldn't recommend a combination of more than 3 variants. Chaos Construction has two more series to be released, and the next plan is to release various variants of skyscrapers.

Solution code: For each row from top to bottom the number of black cells.

I meant just translate the rules, not the whole text.

Most of the rules in the wiki are from championships, so they were written very carefully and checked by many participants. Generally, you can trust them.

******I use translation software and then translate the translated text into my native language to see if there are any problems. I just try, and maybe I will have more attempts in the future, especially the rules part and the problem-solving code part. Thank you so much for your help!

Erhöhen Sie die Übersetzung der deutschen Version. Meine Muttersprache ist Chinesisch. Wenn es eine falsche Übersetzung gibt, helfen Sie mir bitte, darauf hinzuweisen.

Don't care too much about this. The puzzles will be available for a long time and people will discover them. And you don't know how many solvers don't log in or have no account. It is true that in the actual flood there are too many puzzles to solve them all (I solve most of yours). Two years ago, your puzzles would have got much more attention.

But if there is a puzzle of a completely new type by a Chinese author, translated to English, and a solver, who is not a native speaker, it needs some work to understand everything. This is not a general problem, but if there are 10 other puzzles, which are easier to start with, not everybody will choose yours.

Maybe it's an idea to translate them into German? I remember times, when any non-German puzzle rapidly was translated and adopted by the author. And still this is a German site with many German solvers, who would be attracted much more. I will start with another one. You could keep the text as is, replace the rules by the translation and publish it as German version.

And for standard types, like Heyawake, we have standard rules in German and English (and Japanese) in the Wiki. You could just copy it from
http://wiki.logic-masters.de/index.php?title=Heyawake/en
and
http://wiki.logic-masters.de/index.php?title=Heyawake/de
and why not add a Chinese version?

******Thank you, I think I will try to add text in German in the German interface later.
