I spent a lot of time trying to set a puzzle with this variant and I'm happy about how this turned out. Special thanks to @Ogi on the Ctc discord for testing it and your kind feedback :)
The following rules apply to this puzzle:
Sudoku: Fill each row, column, and box with the digits 1 to 9.
Skyscrapers: Each digit in the grid is a "skyscraper" whose height is the digit in that cell. Taller skyscrapers obscure the view of smaller ones. Numbers on the outside of the grid indicate the number of skyscrapers that can be seen from that vantage point.
Cryptic: All of the skyscrapers clues have been replaced with letters. Each letter represents a different digit.
Thermometers: Digits are strictly increasing from the bulb to the tip.
The thermometers are spoons.
Play it on f-puzzles:
Solution code: Rows 4 and 5

Awesome puzzle, the skyscrapers work together really well, to produce a very interesting break-in and a fun mid-solve, thanks emmetcito.

Excellent! Very challenging (at least for me) but the solution steps were completely logical, and finding them was really rewarding.
