Uncertainty X-Sums Sudoku
1.Standard Sudoku rules apply.
2. The clues outside the grid show the total number of X cells starting from the number X in the direction, X is an Uncertainty number. If the number 25 is shown outside, the number string 12|4678|539 means: the sum of the four numbers starting from number 4 is 4+6+7+8=25.
This is a variant of X-Sums Sudoku. Compared with the standard rules, the number X is no longer limited to the first number. At the same time, for each row/column number X, multiple numbers may be satisfied at the same time, such as , The number 11 is displayed outside, which may be xxxxx29xx or xxx317xxx.
The author of the puzzle is my friend 胡蒙汀(Hu Mengting) from China. I hope you like it.
Your feedback and comments are highly appreciated :) Enjoy !

I know about all the options you listed, I was only wondering if incomplete sums are allowed, which are not. Good, thank you. :)
******It's just that the X of the previous X-Sums is not fixed, so the external hint must be a complete formula 13=3+1+9 or other, and there may be 2 or more formulas that meet the conditions at the same time. I think it should be able to relieve your confusion.

Thank you! I understand now. I got confused because it says starting from the "third" number. I think if it just said "The sum of the four numbers starting from number 4" would be clearer for those of us who don't have memorized how x-sums work. :)

@Frankenfruity
The standard X-Sums Sudoku specifies that X is the first number, and the sum of the X numbers starting from the first grid will be marked with the outer prompt number. It happened to be changed here, the position of the X number is no longer fixed, it is an arbitrary position.

Can someone explain the rules a bit better to me, cause I'm apparently too dumb to figure it out from what is written?

@marcmees
Haha, uncertain X-sums are allowed to appear multiple times, such as 11, 29|317|xxxx, as long as there is one set of satisfaction.
