Double-Digit-Thermo/Arrow IV: "The Ferris Wheel"

(Published on 23. February 2021, 02:31 by Garford)

The Ferris Wheel

This is the fourth puzzle on a series of Double-Digit-Variations. If you are new to the Ruleset, take a look at "The Bonsai" first.

Ruleset:

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

On a double-digit Thermometer double-digit numbers have to be placed. Seen from the start of the bulb the first number starts with its tens digit, followed by its unit digit and the tens digit of the next number. The numbers need to strictly increase along a thermometer.

On a double-digit Arrow double-digit numbers need to be placed similar to the numbers on a thermometer in the pointing direction of the arrow, but not in any particular order. The numbers on each arrow need to sum to the three-digit-number in the pill in box 5 (read topdown) separately.

The white circle in box 7 is a Quadruple. The numbers written in the circle need to appear within the four cells around the Quadruple.

Notes:

1) The starting number of the central thermometer needs be read from downright to topleft, as the direction of the thermometer line indicates.

2) For example, the digits on the left arrow in row 5 need to be summarized as Sum=R5C1+10*R5C2+R5C3+10*R4C4. They are not read from left to right but in the direction of the pointing arrow.

3) You may want to deactivate the "Highlight Conflicts" in the Settings-Menu at f-puzzles.
