15 friendly DJs Sudoku
(Published on 14. February 2021, 06:00 by ICHTUES)
- Normal Sudoku rules apply
- Disjoint Groups constraint applies: No two cells in the same position relative to their box may contain the same digit. Disjoint groups are numbered the same way boxes are
- A cell is friendly if it contains the same number as its row, column, box, or disjoint group
- There are exactly 15 friendly cells
- Killer Cages sum to a number that is friendly to both cells in the cage (i.e. R7C4 is friendly to 1478 and R7C5 is friendly to 2578, so the cage they are in sums to 7 or 8)

Wow, the opening *is* unique - and I just found it by staring at the grid, without even any pencil-marking.
But after that, the rest was just tedious pencil-marking and eliminations. If there's a clear logical path consisting of big ideas, I couldn't find it.
