Killer Hidden Arrows Sudoku

(Published on 8. February 2021, 03:18 by Realshaggy)

Training puzzle for Sudoku GP Round 2

Fill the grid with digits 1 to 9 so that each row, column and 3x3 box contains each digit exactly once.
Digits placed in each marked cage must sum to the total given in the top-left corner. Digits must not repeat within cages. All cages contain a standard Arrow clue, which is hidden. The circle part of the arrow will be at one end of the cage with the arrow extending along the cage to the other end. The arrow must fill the entire cage. The circle may enclose any number of digits, multi-digit totals are read in the direction of the arrow. Digits along the Arrow add to the number(s) in the circle.

I found two more Hidden Arrow puzzles by Scott Strohsal with ID 4GK and 4IK. He also has an example of a Killer cage with an Arrow. I've now also mentioned how Arrow clues work. Sorry, I just copied the rules from the instruction booklet.

I think puzzle rules should be understandable for everyone. The rules here are incomprensible for people who aren't already familiar with arrow sudoku.

Very fun puzzle, loved the logic in the beginning although I was a little confused and had issues to count (I'm still new xD)

but the beginning was something I've never seen before and it felt pretty well executed, please make more puzzle like this!
