U-Bahn 3

(Published on 31. January 2021, 18:59 by Dandelo)

Draw a connected subway line plan in the grid, which runs horizontally and vertically from field center to field center and does not leave the diagram anywhere. The lines can branch or turn at the center of the field, but there are no dead ends. The numbers at the top and left borders indicate how many of the corresponding shapes appear in the corresponding row or column. The shapes can also be rotated.

Solution code: For each column except the last, from left to right, the number of lines leading to the right. Then for each line except the last from top to bottom, the number of lines going down.

Great ! Surprisingly hard for such a small grid, as it has been stated by previous solvers. Thanks :)

Thx! Of course the 6x6 allows T&E, as described in the hidden comments.
One should try the same idea in larger grids. First I just wanted to demonstrate a logical step and didn't care about the grid.

Wow. That was incredible. One of the most complex and intricate standard u-bahns I've solved, which is impressive considering it's only 6x6.
Very tricky but such brilliant logic.

Very tricky but fun, thanks!

Very juicy!

Wow. Easily the most logically rich 6x6 I have ever solved. Very challenging, yet totally fair.

Awesome! Learned a lot from this one, thanks.

Ging mir beim Erstellen genauso. Vielleicht ist uns ja dasselbe aufgefallen? Dann müsstest du den Einstieg in Nr. 4 sofort finden.

Super!

Klasse.

Das war leider eine alte Version, sorry. Hier ist die korrekte Datei.

Unfortunately that was an old version, sorry. Here is the correct file.

Uvo says it has multiple solutions.
I even gave it to a test solver. Sorry Can't correct it until tonight though.

I hope this time I hid the idea better. There is a logical approach, with an entry that I was not previously aware of.
