Magic 8-Box [Arrow Sudoku]

If you get stuck while solving this puzzle, you're more than welcome to try asking the Magic 8-Box for advice. Don't get your hopes up, mind - it's even less forthcoming than its namesake, in that it's only able to give the answer "5"...
The trick that kicks the intended solution off is... well, tricky, I guess, but hopefully not diabolical. You'll know it when you see it.. or, rather, you'll know it when you see the very next step after it! Still, as always, I hope you enjoy the puzzle if you take a stab at it, and though I'm not necessarily great at responding to comments I absolutely do read them, so feel free to leave one if you fancy doing so. Digits along an arrow must sum to the value in its circle; these digits can repeat, when permitted by normal sudoku.
The digits in Box 8, which has been highlighted in magical magenta, must form a 3x3 magic square.

Superb puzzle!! Really enjoyed this, had to crunch the grey cells to resolve the magenta cells ;)
