Very interesting set of rules! Quick and easy start for me as well, followed by a brick wall and eventually bifurcation to get to the end. I'll have to do this puzzle again to try to spot the piece of logic that I missed! :)

Very nice start! Then I have a hard time after cols 7,8,9, but after that I got going again. Nice puzzle
