Pencil puzzle sudoku hybrid series #5 - Slitherlink killer sudoku

(Published on 9. January 2021, 14:48 by Aspartagcus)

It's been a while since my last one, but I've set another pencil puzzle sudoku hybrid.
This time it's a hybrid between slitherlink and killer sudoku. I've had this idea for quite a while, but thought it would be hard to find a valid solution for it, but I managed (with some luck!), and I'm very happy with the results. I think the difficulty is either a 4 or a 5.

If you're unfamiliar with slitherlink, check out this link:
Slitherlink rules and example

RULES:
- Standard sudoku rules apply, except that the digits 0-8 are used.
- Killer cage rules apply: Digits in cages must sum to the value indicated in the top left cell of the cage, and digits may not repeat in a cage.
- Slitherlink rules apply:
+ Draw one loop, that does not branch or touch itself, along the edges of the cells.
+ The digits 0-3 indicate how many of the edges of the cells they occupy are part of the loop.
+ Cells with other digits may have any number of its edges as part of the loop.

And this is the puzzle:

Enjoy!
