Author: 真笑(洪卫华), from China, this question comes from his personal blog.

“庄子” Sudoku
According to the following rules, the grid is divided into 9 different rigions, each regions contains 9 cells:
1.Fill in a number from 1-9 in each region, and make each row, column and region have no repeated numbers;
2. The sum of the numbers on both sides of each region boarder line in the row(colum) is arranged on the outside of the ranks in the correct order;
3. A white circle indicates that the 4 cells arrounded belong to the same region.A ? indicate an unknown number;
4.All outside prompt numbers or ? have been given.
5.Not all white circles are given.

Before completing the problem-solving, please read the following instructions:
1.Regarding the difficulty, my test result is 3-3.5 stars, so the initial setting is 3 stars;
2.Regarding the title of the puzzle, Dandelo once suggested using "Chinese Sums Sudoku", After communicating with "真笑", no changes will be made for the time being, because the puzzle of dividing the area is a series, including the previously released "墨子", "庄子", and the upcoming "惠子" etc.;
3.Regarding the problem of the solution code, some puzzle solvers have complained. After careful analysis, for the partition type Sudoku puzzles, the output method of "specific cell positioning area" is my most respected. Considering the previous series All 3 problems are output in this way, so the original solution code is maintained for the time being;
4.Finally, if there is no puzzle solver who tried the previous series of puzzles, it is strongly recommended that you solve the previous series first.

I really enjoyed it and I think this is a really beautiful puzzle, even though for me it was very hard (and sometimes frustrating), just to figure out how to use the clues took me ages. Thank you so much for sharing it.

From the results of my test, "Zhuangzi" 004 is more challenging. If you haven't had time to challenge, please try it. It is definitely worth a 4-star rating. All hints are not redundant.

I don't think you should worry too much about the exact difficulty. It simply depends on who solves the puzzle.

For instance: I have been trying Stephane Bura's compass- sudoku's and have not managed to place a single digit in any of them. I simply do not understand how I should ... approach them. Those are 5 star puzzles to me. But others may rate them with only 3.

And anyway, this is why each player can enter what they feel the difficulty is after playing a puzzle.

******Haha, I fully understand what you said because I was repeatedly warned today. Thank you!

>4*. Very well constructed. Hints perfectly chosen to stay exciting till the end. Good decision to keep solution code as it is. Even when all digits were in the grill at the end, still 2 areas needed to be found with the help of seemingly futile question marks. Loved it.

******I am glad to hear your high evaluation of this problem, and give feedback on the difficulty, solution submission, and problem-solving logic. I appreciate your feedback very much, thank you!
