This is a follow-up to my previous puzzle, friendly bishops. This puzzle has a much easier break in and may serve as a good introduction to my concept of "friends"
Normal Sudoku rules apply
For 1,2,4, and 8, each digit must see friend by knights move. Digits with a 2:1 ratio are friends. Cages with totals indicate the number of friends that cell sees. Digits along a line form a palindrome. Cells connected with a black dot have a 2:1 ratio, cells connected with a white dot are consecutive. Not all dots are given.
Here is an example grid for how friendly knights work.
Note the number of friends the 4 in row 1 sees.
Here is the puzzle, enjoy!

Thanks steelwool. I decided to give this puzzle an easy break in because my previous puzzle, friendly bishops, has what I think is a very difficult start.

Very nice. Quite an easy start really, then proceeds very smoothly.
