Preface: No letter touches an adjacent letter of the complete alphabet on an edge or corner.
1. Two of the eight letters of RICHTUNG are in each row and in each column.
2. One of the four letters of each NORD, SUED and WEST is in each row and in each column.
3. Field c2 touches all fields of OST on an edge or corner.
4. Field b3 touches all fields of WEG on an edge or corner.
