I created this puzzle as preparation for a team round of the 2019 WPC (world puzzle championship). It turned out quite a bit harder than the actual competition puzzle. You have been warned ;)
This puzzle consists of 8 loop puzzles, and 7 categories of 4 rules each. Every puzzle will be assigned one rule per category that it has to satisfy, and every rule has to be used by exactly two puzzles. If a puzzle satisfies a rule, it is not allowed to satisfy the other three rules of that category (at least when applied to the whole puzzle; individual clues are allowed to satisfy multiple rules). During the competition, this was not needed for finding the unique solution, but for my puzzle, you should keep it in mind :)

Amazing!! I loved the way the correct rules of each puzzle are gradually revealed, how intricately linked they all are. The clues are minimal, and it's often hard to know where to look, but every step was very reasonable, and interesting too.
I did tear my hair out for a while quadruple-checking everything when my solution code didn't work, because I was misinterpreting "the amount of empty cells" as the total numbers in each entire grid, not just in the marked rows. Kinda dumb in retrospect but that's English for you.

xiao01wei, I'm quite sure this puzzle has only one solution. Please re-read the instructions: "If a puzzle satisfies a rule, it is not allowed to satisfy the other three rules of that category."
(My guess is that this rule is what causes your problems.)

Edit: Aber nicht bei C. Dafür ging es bei C jetzt plötzlich weiter, wo ich gestern nix mehr gesehen habe.

Puzzle C had two solutions, there is an additional clue now: An arrow in the bottom right of row 6/column 7, pointing to the top-left.

Thanks, you are right, there is a clue missing in C. I'll fix it, but you can take the longer path of your two options for now. Sorry for that.

Die Originalversion der Teamrunde war in der Tat deutlich schwerer. Ich weiß nicht mehr genau wieviel, aber die hatte bestimmt um die 60 Hinweise weniger.

@rubbeng: In 4., both masyu circles can be valid, I think you forgot about a possible intersection?
Also, it's not clear if you meant it that way, but I'll just state it to be sure: If a Geradeweg clue on a turn or intersection is knapp daneben, it can be different values horizontally and vertically.

@Hidden comment: I watched our teams solving this back in 2019, and the most common mistake was to forget about intersection. E.g. Sometimes two lines that met at 90° turned out to be an intersection after all. Maybe that also happened to you?
