Rounded Killer Sudoku

(Published on 7. January 2021, 00:00 by RockyRoer)

Inspiration came from Richard Stolk's "Round off Puzzle".

The Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply: Fill every row, column, and box with the digits 1-9
  • Normal killer sudoku rules apply:
    • No digits can repeat in a cage
    • Cage totals are the sum of all digits in a cage
  • Cage totals must be deduced
  • All cage totals, rounded to the nearest 10, are the same.

The puzzle.

I have to say I really enjoyed this one. Thank you RockyRoer!

Reply: Thanks! It was such a challenge to set! I didn't think I'd be able to make it work with such vague constraints! Glad you enjoyed it!

May sums ending in a five be rounded to both sides? Or do those always have to be rounded up?

Reply:
I used rounding rules that numbers ending in 0-4 round down and numbers ending in 5-9 round up.
