XV | VX Sudoku
(Published on 30. December 2020, 16:28 by Aspartagcus)
This is the second of the puzzles that I sent to Mark Goodliffe on Cracking the Cryptic, as I was his Secret Santa. This one should be harder than the previous one (and more interesting, in my opinion).
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- XV rules apply. Digits in cells separated by an X sum to 10, digits in cells separated by a V sum up to 5. All X's and V's are given.
- Digits in cells separated by a white dot must be consecutive.
- Digits mirrored over at least one of the diagonals are shaded. All shaded cells are given. (A digit in a shaded cell is repeated in the shaded cell that it overlaps when folding the grid over one of the diagonals. R4C1=R9C6 and R8C6=R6C8.)
Enjoy!

Very nice! Using alphabets ABCD for 1-4 and PQRS for 6-9 really helped me solve this one.
