Normal sudoku rules apply.
Along thermometers shapes, digits must increase from the bulb end. Thermometers with the same background color refer to the same distance between their contained digits. (If a thermometer contains more than two digits, the distance has to be maintained at every step.) Thermometers of different colors are not allowed to refer to the same distance between their contained digits. (See example)
In each cage, the sum of the odd digits equals the sum of the even digits. Digits may not repeat within a cage. In addition, all cages with an equal amout of cells contain a different combination of digits.
Example:
Solution code: Row 2, then Column 8

@steelwool. There are 4 cages made up of 5 cells, these 4 cages can't be made of the same 5 digits. So for instance, if a 5 cell cage has 24657, a different 5 cell cage can't be made of the same 5 digits. Same for the 7-cell cages

Hi,
sorry, I do not understand this "In addition, all cages with an equal amount of cells contain a different combination of digits".
There are no cages with equal ammount of sells (all odd sizes) and what do you mean by combination of digits?
Would love to have a go at this, but I need to understand the rules.
Thanks.

Thank you Laarry and Tilberg. It's so nice to know that my intended solution concept came into play. I think this puzzle is the most systematic that I have created. For once, I had a clear plan. Most of my other puzzles are a bit more chaotic... :)

Wow, once I wrapped my mind around the logic, it flowed nicely!

This took way longer than I care to admit. Very nice logic!
