Normal Sudoku rules apply. Additionally, the final grid will contain a 1-cell-wide python, which begins and ends at the red squares. The python may not touch itself orthogonally or diagonally. Digits on the python form a palindrome, with the pink square at the midpoint. The grey squares (stones) are NOT python. Each stone shows how many of its surrounding squares (INCLUDING the stone itself) are NOT python. All stone digits are different. The blue squares may be python. Each blue square shows how many of its surrounding squares (INCLUDING the square itself) are python. ALL possible colored squares are given.

Lovely puzzle! I especially loved the extent to which the negative constraint could be used to make progress.

I don't know how I missed this before CTC featured it - what a joy! Great construction, really enjoyable. :)

Very nice digit-less puzzle. I thought getting the python would be enough, but I had another think coming ! Thanks, ICHTUES.

I can confirm what MagnusJosefsson has said: the instructions on the f-puzzles page are incorrect. To solve the puzzle you need to know that ALL COLOURED SQUARES are given - there are no other blue OR GREY cells.
Here is an updated f-puzzles link with the correct rules, formatted for easier reading: https://f-puzzles.com/?id=yd5upuuj

Nice puzzle! One source of frustration though -- the f-puzzles rules state "ALL possible blue squares are given" rather than "ALL possible colored squares are given". I did not notice the wording on the website and spent a long time without finding a logical path for the last part of the puzzle using the f-puzzles rules. So my advice would be to correct the f-puzzles rules as the puzzle flowed much more nicely with the full restrictions :).
