@drolli38: This is probably late, but numbers on a thermo do not have to be consecutive, so 1-3 would be allowed. The term "strictly increase" is usually intended to differentiate from slow thermo puzzles wherein numbers can repeat along neighbouring cells of the thermo.

does "strictly increase" mean that the figures in the thermometers are consecutive? e.g. 1-2 allowed, 1-3 not allowed?
