Normal sudoku rules apply. A number in the upper left corner of a cage indicates the sum of the numbers contained in the cage. Digits cannot repeat within a cage. If there is a digit in a cage outside of the 9x9 grid, it has to contain a number from 1-9. This number cannot be two-digit or 0.
These numbers outside the sudoku grid are sandwich clues and indicate the sum of the numbers between 1 and 9 in that row or column.
Solution code: Row 9 followed by Column 9

Thank you Jesper, udukos and Martin for the nice fedback + bernhard for solving the puzzle and getting it a rating. Hopefully the puzzle isn't too old for a few more solves at this point.

I broke the puzzle twice because I overlooked a possibility. Happy to finally finish it.

Enjoyable solve.
Having no zeros or two digit sandwich clues did help with both the solve and pencil marking!
