I'm sorry to say I wasn't aware of this puzzle before making 000536... what a remarkable mind-meld we've had! Look forward to trying this one soon.

Haha, I'm glad you also came up with a similar idea (it gave me a chance to solve one!). I hope you'll like it :-)

Interesting killer variant! 4-cell cages are quite special in this variant. Thanks for the fun puzzle :-D

@TimE Thanks for the feedback. :-)
I tried to make it approachable since it was a new variant (and not everyone has solved a skyscraper puzzle before).

Easier than expected! Interesting variant which combines skyscrapers with killer cages. Enjoyed the interaction of the 6-cell skyscraper lines! :-)
Would love to try a harder one in the future.

Clarified that all cages/lines are skyscraper lines (including those whose common skyscraper sum is not given).

@cdwg2000 Think of the skyscrapers as being fenced off (instead of being trapped in a cage ;-)).
If you were being serious, then all cages/lines in this sudoku are skyscraper lines. Including the ones whose common skyscraper sums are not given (they are to be worked out for each skyscraper cage/line during the solve).

Excuse me: Can there still be skyscrapers in the cage!!!

Inspiration for this puzzle type comes from Undar Beyond's Lunchbox idea (sandwich clues inside killer cages/lines)
