Normal sudoku rules apply.
Thermo rules:
Digits must increase from the bulb end of the thermometer and cannot repeat.
Killer rules:
Digits in cages can´t repeat within the cage. The sum total of most cages is found on a thermomether that is in contact with the cage (breaking it´s boundaries or enclosed in the cage) and must be read either from top to bottom or from left to right. Two-digit sums must be adjacent

I must have misunderstood the rules. Both thermos into the 8-cell cages must start with the same digit, no? I don't know what I'm missing.
*** The sum of the cage is somewhere on the thermo and if it's a 2-digit sum the 2 digits are orthogonally connected. For the 8-cell cages we can conclude that the sum lies between 36-38 since the sum is read from top to bottom. The 3 doesn't have to be in the bulb.

EDIT: Thanks for the explanation! Yes, I did think the sum had to originate from the bulb. I came back to it with fresh eyes and now I made it. Nice puzzle!
