Picross Sudoku!

Standard Sudoku rules apply.
Some cells in the grid are to be highlighted. Clues around the outside of the grid show the sum of the digits in each distinct block of highlighted cells in that row or column (or show what the sum must be strictly less than). All clues appear in the correct order, and all possible clues are shown.

Fantastic puzzle concept. Very difficult puzzle, but logical solving path and very satisfying.
ALSO, replying to ICHTUES from over a year ago, the puzzle solution at your link has two "2"s in box 9.
