Double Star Battle Killer
(Published on 6. October 2020, 22:36 by clover)
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
-
1s and 2s behave like the stars in a star battle puzzle: 1s cannot touch any other 1s or 2s, even diagonally, and 2s cannot touch any other 2s or 1s, even diagonally.
-
8s and 9s behave the same way described above.
- For clarity, a 1
may touch an 8 or a 9 and a 2 may touch an 8 or a 9.
- The digits within a cage may not repeat and must sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage.

Nice puzzle, but I think 3 stars might be more accurate. I liked how it got just a little bit tricky towards the end though.
