Lying Between The Stars

(Published on 3. October 2020, 23:45 by Djmelee3000)

Since I have made two rulesets, I decided to combine them. This is a mix of my Lying Stars and Kill Between The Lines rulesets (Lying Stars link and Kill Between The Lines link). Let me know how it goes and I hope you enjoy the combination! Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!

Rules:
•Normal sudoku rules apply.
•The yellow stars within or attached to killer cages indicate the amount the cage total is off by (if the total is 25 and the star is 5, then the real total is either 20 or 30).
•Digits in a cage will then add up to the new total (or given total if not affected by a star), without repeats.
•The stars form an extra region with the digits 1-9.
•The black dots only help show which cages the stars are attached to. They are not ratios.
•The ends of the cages act as circles of a between line, where the numbers in the middle must be between the value of the ends.

Took me far too long to find the intended intro (mainly because I was being blind), but once that got sorted it progressed very nicely. Couple sticking points after that but nothing too difficult. Very enjoyable overall.
