Sagittarius

(Published on 19. September 2020, 12:47 by RockyRoer)

If you look into the night skies in the month of September, you can't help but notice the constellation of Sagittarius, the archer. The archer, in my opinion, is hard to see, but a "Teapot" is pretty recognizable. Not only is it a beautiful asterism, it's currently home to Jupiter and Saturn, and so I thought now would be a good time to publish a puzzle I made based on Sagittarius.

The Rules

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • In addition, the circled cells contain the number of primes (2, 3, 5, and 7) that occur between connected circles - including the circles themselves (see example pic).
  • The black circles are 3:1 ratios between cells All possible ratios are shown.
    • For a real challenge, forgot I told you that ratio and deduce it yourself...
  • The white circles are differences between cells — the difference is consistent throughout the puzzle, but must be deduced. All possible differences of that size are shown.
  • The Puzzle
