Skyscrapers 9*9

Rules: Enter numbers from 1 to 9 into the grid, so that each number appears exactly once in each row and column. These numbers represent skyscrapers of the corresponding height. The numbers outside the grid indicate how many skyscrapers can be seen in the respective row or column from the respective direction. Smaller skyscrapers are hidden behind higher ones.

I try to avoid givens in a Skyscrapers puzzle at all cost; I take it that the 5 in R8C4 is necessary to ensure the uniqueness of the solution.
That said, this was was a great puzzle by Qiu Yanzhe (whose name I still cannot pronounce - I hope he forgives me) with some solving steps I found exceptionally nice.
I really liked the flow of it, and how the clues interacted even at a late stage, miraculously allowing logical steps until the very end, without any guessing.
