Y-Sums Sudoku
Rules:
1. Place the digits from 1 to 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block,
2. The external hint number means the sum of the first Y numbers in the row and column, where Y is the Xth digit and X is the 1st Digits.
Let’s take a look at the above legend. First, look at the prompt number 19 above. The first digit X is 3. Then, the third digit (Y) is 5. The prompt number represents the sum of the first 5 digits, which is 19.
In the same way, we look at the prompt number 7 on the right. The first digit X is 4. Then, the fourth digit (Y) is 2. The prompt number represents the sum of the first two digits, which is 7.
The hint number below is 1, the first digit X is 1, the first digit (Y) is itself, and the hint number represents the sum of the first digit, which is 1.

@Big Tiger: Solution code is just a row and column from each of the two puzzles. "Question 1" refers to the 6x6 sudoku, and likewise "Question 2" the 9x9.
The 6x6 is easy but serves well in helping understand how the ruleset works. The main puzzle is the 9x9

I was intrigued - still am - but before I started I saw the "Solution Code" and I do not understand that one bit. Could I get some clarification before I spend time on the puzzle?

Use a picture instead with less pixels from left to right. I think the allowed maximum width is 1000 pixels.
