Fat X Little Killer Sudoku

(Published on 31. August 2020, 10:20 by Aspartagcus)

Here comes a little killer sudoku with only six little killer clues (and one kropki dot).
People who have tried it has said that it's very hard, so I have set it as "very difficult", let me know what you think.

RULES:
- Standard sudoku rules apply.
- The numbers outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits in the direction of the arrow.
- The black dot indicates that the digit on one side is twice as large as the digit on the other side.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who tries it out!

I would love to hear your thoughts on the puzzle logic and the difficulty, and how enjoyable it is.
If you need a tip on how to solve it, just let me know.

Thanks!
Enjoy!

I worked on this for almost 4 hours and broke it several times. I'm not sure I even understand the logic but if it has a unique solution, which I assume it must, then I have to admire the craftsmanship of this puzzle. When I am more experienced with sudoku, I will revisit this and crack it!

I haven't solved this yet, but I have enjoyed placing the first digit. Some of the logic gave me the same joy as solving Thorsby's turtle sudoku 9s & 8s (id=000442).

Anyone who likes symmetric puzzles should give both this puzzle and Thorsby's puzzle a try.

Don't let the difficulty rating of 5 fool you this puzzle is about as hard as all other difficulty-5 puzzles. Attempt this one at your own risk. Enjoyment is subjective.
Edit: I also need to mention that this puzzle contains some exquisite logic.
