Six-pack Linked Sudokus
(Published on 25. August 2020, 00:57 by Genomico)
This is one large puzzle, consisting of six different variants of 6x6 sudokus, which are all linked together by circles.
A circle must contain one digit from 1 to 6 and is an outside clue for both adjacent puzzles.
Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply to all sudokus, so every row column and region must contain the digits 1 to 6.
Additional rules per variant:
Difference Sudoku: Clues outside the grid indicate the
difference of the first two digits in the corresponding direction.
Outside-2 Sudoku: Digits outside the grid have to be
placed in one of the first two cells in the corresponding direction.
Next-to-6 Sum Sudoku: Clues outside the grid indicate the
sum of all direct neighbours of the digit 6 in the respective row or column.
Skyscraper Sudoku: Every digit represents a skyscraper with the same height. Clues outside the grid indicate the
number of visible skyscrapers from that side. Higher skyscrapers block the view of lower ones.
MaxAscending Sudoku: Clues outside the grid indicate the
length of the longest series of ascending digits in the corresponding direction. (E.g. the length of a 1-3-6 series is 3.)
First seen odd/even Sudoku: Clues outside the grid, if odd,
show the first odd number in the corresponding direction;
or, if even,
the first even number.
The puzzle is also available on
Penpa.
I enjoyed creating this puzzle, so I hope you enjoy solving :) It might take some time though. And be careful not to break it ;)
Solution code: The row with the 18 circled digits in the middle of the grid.

I just guess the code out, but the maxascending part seems impossible...please help
edited:nevermind, I misunderstand the rule of maxascending, I wonder the longest ascending digits can be noncontinuous XD

Very surprised that this got rated 5 stars, it does take time but there is nothing very technical about it. Anyway, an excellent puzzle, thank you Tom.
Edit: and... it dropped to 4 stars. :D

What a marvellous puzzle. All six sudokus are intricately linked and there was so much to do in here.

This is astoundingly good. Each individual Sudoku is cleverly crafted, and the path that leads you through all 6 is beautiful. Easily one of the most enjoyable puzzles I've ever had the pleasure of doing.
