This puzzle obeys the following constraints:
Sudoku - Fill each row column and region with the numbers 1 to 9.
Anti-Knight - No two cells a knights move apart can contain the same digit
Anti-King - No two diagonally adjacent cells can contain the same digit
Nonconsecutive - No two cells that border each other can contain consecutive digits
Thermo - Digits strictly increase from the bulb to the tip

@aneoid it must be orthogonal, because any number in the center of the regular regions must be diagonally next to its consecutive digits

Timely, since just yesterday did CTC demonstrate (once again) the technique for approaching this type of puzzles.
And once you know what to do, the actual footwork is minimal here. :D
