Chess Pairs Sudoku

(Published on 31. July 2020, 15:46 by Genomico)

Apply classic sudoku rules. Additionally, two cells containing the same digit form a chess pair when they are a knight’s or a queen’s move away from each other. Each cell must be part of at least one chess pair.

So, give every cell a happy little friend :) Enjoy solving!

The puzzle is available online on Penpa and f-puzzles.

Solution code: Column 2 and Column 4 (without separators).

Love the concept of reversing the normal chess move constraints. The final sets of 2/3s at the end was fun to work out as well.
