Mystery Killer Triplets (Little Killer Sudoku)
(Published on 8. August 2020, 03:00 by SudokuExplorer)
When making the
Mystery Killer Twins sudoku, I added a little killer clue to disambiguate it. That inspired me to create my first little killer sudoku (and with no given digits)!
Rules about Killer Triplet Cages:
In a killer triplet cage, each digit appears
exactly three times within the cage.
No two cells a knight's move apart within the cage can be equal. (
Anti-knight constraint inside the triplet cage).
Its cage sum is the total of all the digits in the cage.
In this sudoku, the two cages are killer triplet cages with the
same cage sum.
Rules about little arrow clues:
These little arrows around the sudoku point in a given diagonal direction, and provide information about the cells on that diagonal.
Numeric Little Killer Clue: The sum of all cells (not necessarily distinct) on that diagonal.
Little Twin Clue: Each digit in that diagonal appears exactly twice on that diagonal.
Little Even Clue: The sum of all cells (not necessarily distinct) on that diagonal is even.
You can try this on
Penpa+. I hope this is an enjoyable one.
Solution code: Enter the first and last columns (top to bottom).

@PhilipM I'm pleased you enjoyed this puzzle, as much as I enjoyed setting it :-)
I wanted the solver to think more about the interaction of the constraints whilst solving it, after feedback from my last killer triplets sudoku.

Very nice puzzle, cleverly constructed and the constraints all tie in really nicely together!
