Chessboard pattern sudoku

(Published on 22. July 2020, 14:57 by KevinCelis)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

  • Odd digits have an anti-knights move constraint (in chess) = an odd digit may not be a knights move away from the same digit.
  • Even digits have an anti-kings move constraint (in chess) = an even digit may not touch the same digit orthogonally or diagonally.
  • Even digits also may not touch any other even digit orthogonally.
  • The blue squares are not bound by the anti-kings move contraint = even digits in this square may touch the same digit in a diagonally adjacent square (and other even digits may touch the same even digit diagonally when it's in a blue square).

This should be a relatively easy puzzle. I'm starting with two stars, but wouldn't be surprised to see it go down to one.
