- Normal sudoku rules apply (1-9 in each row, column, and box).
- Normal thermometer rules apply (the numbers on the thermometer must ascend from the bulb, but do not necessarily need to be consecutive).
- Normal magic square rules apply (each magic square must contain the numbers from 1-9, and be arranged such that each three cell row, column, and diagonal has the same total).
