Magic killer powers
(Published on 14. July 2020, 09:08 by udukos)
Normal sudoku rules apply.
The green cells form a magic square. Each green cell must contain a digit from 1 to 9, and the sum of every row, column, and diagonal in the green cells must be the same. Both main diagonals contain every digit from 1 to 9 exactly once.
In each cage, the digits must sum to a number that can be represented as n raised to the power of m, where n and m are both whole numbers with m>1. For example, the sum of the digits in cages can be 1 (1^2), 4 (2^2), 8 (2^3), 9 (3^2), 16 (2^4), and so on. The values of n and m can vary between cages. Digits cannot repeat within a cage.
