Cobra Croissant Sudoku
(Published on 17. June 2020, 20:56 by logopolys)
example
Normal sudoku rules apply. In addition, A snake of width 1 has to be drawn into the grid. The head and tail of the snake are marked in green. The snake may not touch itself orthogonally or diagonally. The snake only contains odd numbers. Snake cells will form at most two continuous groups in the same row or column.
The red numbers on the top and left are sandwich clues. The crusts of the sandwich are snake squares. If there are more than two snake cells in a row or column, use only the innermost snake cells (see example above) as the crust. The purple numbers on the right and bottom are "snake sums." They are the total sum of all snake cells on that row or column (again, see example above). All possible non-zero sandwich clues and snake sums are given.

Or more simply, 7 + 9 = 16.

@zorant: Well, 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 16. :P

Greg, the snake must contain only odd numbers, but does not necessary contain all cells with odd numbers.

"All possible non-zero sandwich clues ... are given"
Either one of Row 9 or Column 9 must be a non-zero sandwich as the 1 is in the corner, but neither are given.
Edit - Ignore me, I've just seen where i've confused myself (crusts of sandwich are snake squares)
