Normal Sudoku rules apply. Each coloured region is a killer cage i.e. the number given in the top left is the sum of the digits in the killer cage. Digits do not repeat in a killer cage.
Additionally, each killer cage could act as a thermometer, that is there is a path within each cage that is strictly increasing. For example, a cage of three with 1-3-9 is valid, but 1-9-3 is not. In the case of 2x2 boxes, this picture illustrates the rules.
This is part of a group of "Thermal Killer" sudokus. There are 3 different puzzles, and a bonus puzzle which requires the solutions of the 3 puzzles. This was inspired by Eggr's Hidden Clone series
This is, in my opinion, of medium difficulty among the three thermal killer sudokus.
Solution code: Row 3, followed by Column 7

I didn't notice any violations. Worked fine for me.

@Flori As far as I know, there is a unique solution with no such violations. You can message me on Reddit @Madmahogany if you want to verify anything. It would help if you could mention where the problem is occuring, so I could give you a code that would help.

I solved the puzzle, but the last two cages I filled did not fit your additional rule set. (One cage is not increasing and another has a repeat-digit)
But I checked every row, column and box and there were all correct in normal sudoku rules. The code for checking (row 3 and column 7) was also right.
Did I messed something up? Could you maybe give me another code for checking?
